INFO: A shorter season turquoise colored winter squash originally bred by Fisher’s Seeds near Belgrade, Montana. This squash is amazing for winter storage, soups, squash jerky, or however you want to fill your empty belly.
PLANTING: This seed is grown “Dry land”, meaning no irrigation, and irrigation will increase yields. Start transplants 2 weeks before setting out, or direct sow 5 seeds per “hill” 1 week after last spring frost. thin to 2-3 best plants. Space “hills” 8 feet apart.
