Silver and gold used to be the standard for pocket change…crazy huh?
The silver quarters listed here in this section are made from USA silver quarters. There is a story with every ring, someone used it to buy a ice cream for their date on a Friday nite, a movie at the drive in, fried chicken, or who knows what.
The story is the most interesting to me aside from the silver content of the ring.
USA standards had all silver quarters after 1838 be 90% silver/10% copper. All original coins had “In God We Trust” and “Liberty” minted on them. All coins at the mint had approximately .18 Troy ounces or 6.25 grams.
The rings will weigh less than these amounts, likely by half due to the center needing to be punched out to create the coin. Scrap silver is used to create other custom silver casted jewelry pieces.
Wear a piece of USA history, give as a gift, or have as a keep sake b/c of a special year. The date could be the birth year of a loved one or yourself, the year your parents or grandparents wedding anniversary, year of the owning of the family farm/ranch, or for any other reason.
Pics are not the exact ring you will get, yet the ring will be the exact style of coin with all the original mint marks on the coin.
