This 6-9 inch long orange carrot is a rare find. It has been faithfully stewarded in Corvallis, MT for a number of years, at least since the early 90's with the old Garden City Seeds of Hamilton, MT. A bio-regionally adapted carrot to say the least. Fantastic for storage, fresh eating, soups, and dried carrots.
PLANTING
Sow seeds 1/4 inch deep in early Spring and keep seeds moist. Lay some scrap lumber over seeds to keep moist and lift occasionally during Spring rains. May take 21 days to sprout, thin 2-4 inches apart, and plant with maters, peas, and onions.
SOWS AT LEAST A 15 FOOT ROW
