SEED GROWN AT MISSOULA GRAIN AND VEGETABLE FARM IN STEVENSVILLE, MONTANA
INFO: A Montana native early Spring green loaded with Vitamin C, and has saved many weary travelers throughout its native range. Its succulent and crunchy leaves make an amazing addition to raw salads. This plant will handle many cuttings as long as it is watered. Also called winter purslane.
HOW TO: Mix with sand to assist in even spread of your seed, and sow with early Spring rains. Barely cover seed with sand/dirt and it needs cold temps to sprout. Enjoys rich compost, irrigation, and happy earthworms.
